Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years cooking experience preferred
  • Valid food handler's card
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong communication skills

  • At least 2 years of previous line cooking experience preferred
  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform all basic cooking skills
  • Able to work at a single station in the kitchen

  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Possess a valid food handler's card

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking
  • Cook and plate dishes following Hyatt recipes and standards
  • Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Manage cooking stations during service
  • Follow food handling and safety procedures
  • Assist in receiving and storing supplies
