Job Requirements
- Culinary degree or equivalent hotel cooking experience
- Minimum 2 years of line cooking experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform basic cooking techniques
- Physical stamina for long standing periods
- Willingness to learn and accept supervision
Job Qualifications
- Refined verbal communication skills
- 2 years of previous line experience preferred
- Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
- Ability to perform all basic cooking skills
- Capable of working single station in the kitchen
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods
Job Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned kitchen stations
- Work efficiently at a single station within the kitchen
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Assist in training and development of junior kitchen staff
- Ensure timely and quality preparation of meals
