Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of culinary or kitchen experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic cooking tasks
  • Willingness to learn and accept supervision
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods
  • Culinary degree or relevant hotel experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Refined verbal communication skills
  • Two years of previous line experience preferred
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • Ability to perform all basic cooking skills
  • Capable of working single station in the kitchen
  • Strong desire to satisfy guest needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Hyatt standards
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely
  • Monitor quality and presentation of dishes
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Work efficiently at a single station in the kitchen
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Receive and implement supervision and training as needed
