- High school diploma or equivalent
- ServSafe certified
- Basic computer skills
- At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in supervisory capacity in hospital, nursing care or related medical facility
- Excellent customer service skills

Job Duties
- Prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
- Coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times ensuring excellence in quality, temperature and appearance
- Assist with tray line setup and plate assembly
- Assist with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen
- Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in interactions with guests, families and visitors
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to create and review menus
- Ensure meals are prepared according to established portion control procedures and sanitary regulations
