Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe certified
  • Basic computer skills
  • At least 2 years of related food experience, preferably in supervisory capacity in hospital, nursing care or related medical facility
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Team player with dedication to support team members

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals following all necessary guidelines and regulations
  • Coordinate food production to coincide with meal serving times ensuring excellence in quality, temperature and appearance
  • Assist with tray line setup and plate assembly
  • Assist with daily cleaning requirements in the kitchen
  • Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in interactions with guests, families and visitors
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to create and review menus
  • Ensure meals are prepared according to established portion control procedures and sanitary regulations
