Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related food experience preferably in a supervisory capacity
  • ServSafe certified
  • Strong knowledge of food procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to team collaboration and resident care

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hospital, nursing care facility, or related medical setting preferred

Job Duties

  • Work closely with the Dietary Director to create and review menus
  • Prepare and cook nourishing meals for residents
  • Ensure compliance with portion control procedures
  • Maintain strict sanitary regulations and follow established food safety policies
  • Provide the best culinary experience for residents at all times
  • Coordinate meal preparation according to dietary needs and preferences
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment
