Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience preferred in high volume bake shop
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
- Clark County Health Card
- Knowledge in production, bread making, pastry, desserts and cake decorating
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to perform basic and intermediate math
- Effective organizational skills
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain kitchen safety and cleanliness
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience preferred in high volume bake shop
- Knowledge in production, bread making, pastry, desserts and cake decorating

- Some college level courses preferred

- Ability to perform basic and intermediate math

- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff
- Ability to present self in a professional, pleasant, confident and well groomed manner
- Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Assists with the production of all bakery items including parfaits, mousses, creams, fillings, cupcakes, cookies, gelatos and sorbets, pies using kitchen machinery if necessary
- Produce and finish daily orders from different outlets and maintain par levels of food and ingredients at all times
- Prepare, decorate and bake a variety of pastries and desserts including breakfast pastries, breads and rolls to manager’s level of expectation
- Prepare celebration cakes including setting, filling, icing and decorating cakes with designs by applying techniques like piping, glazing, rolled fondant
- Utilize basic knowledge of chocolate and sugar work for garnishes and decorations
- Read, follow and execute recipes accurately
- Maintain the highest level of kitchen cleanliness and organization following health department regulations
- Respond to work requests from other departments on an as-needed basis
- Follow and comply with health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices
- Operate and sanitize all equipment safely and properly
- Monitor all raw materials needed to maintain production volume
- Provide courteous and friendly service to all vendors and staff
- Perform related work as requested
