Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Less than 1-year related work experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Willingness to follow and comply with food safety and company policies
  • Ability to work full-time in a fast-paced environment
  • No supervisory experience
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and communication

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
  • Prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • Use baking and measuring tools and equipment safely
  • Follow food safety handling policies and hygiene procedures
  • Monitor kitchen appliance and food temperatures and report issues
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area and set-up and break-down workstations
  • Monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the shift
