Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients by chopping, portioning, and storing food
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
  • Monitor food quality and temperature
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen area, tools, and equipment
  • Set-up and break down work station
  • Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles
  • Follow safety and security policies
  • Report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions
  • Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • Support team goals and respond to concerns
  • Perform physical tasks required by job
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned
