Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients by chopping, portioning, and storing food
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
- Monitor food quality and temperature
- Clean and disinfect kitchen area, tools, and equipment
- Set-up and break down work station
- Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles
- Follow safety and security policies
- Report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- Support team goals and respond to concerns
- Perform physical tasks required by job
- Carry out additional duties as assigned
