Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant setting excluding fast food and casual food
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Capability to reach overhead and below knees including bending and twisting
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
- Commitment to maintaining uniform and professional appearance
- Willingness to follow safety policies and procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and food quality
- Effective communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
- Monitor food quality and test food for doneness
- Set up and break down work station
- Serve food in proper portions
- Wash and disinfect kitchen area and equipment
- Ensure correct temperature of appliances and food
- Follow company safety and security policies
- Report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- Communicate clearly and maintain positive working relationships
- Support team goals and handle other job duties as requested
