Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- minimum five years experience in high-volume cooking
- culinary degree preferred
- ability to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts
- obtain and maintain Food Handler’s Card
- may require gaming license at discretion of regulatory commission
- work in fast-paced environment
- strength to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
- maintain neat and clean appearance
- comply with safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- culinary arts degree preferred
- minimum five years experience in high-volume line or production cooking
- advanced knowledge of food preparation and presentation
- capable of following procedures and taking direction
- ability to read recipes and culinary documents
- excellent knife skills
- knowledge of health and safety food standards
Job Duties
- Assist with maintaining designated workstation throughout business flow
- ensure adherence to recipes, flavor profiles, and quality consistency
- stock and restock food service lines
- apply advanced knowledge of specialty food products and cooking equipment
- perform advanced and specialized cooking methods
- ensure proper food rotation using FIFO method
- label and date all food items
- dispose of expired food and log waste properly
- read and interpret recipes, production lists, and culinary documentation
- train and explain procedures to cook staff
- report injuries, accidents or unsafe conditions immediately to management
- perform other duties to support efficient department operation
