Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of related progressive experience or culinary graduate with at least 2 years of progressive experience preferred
- Culinary experience required
- Flexible and long working hours sometimes required
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand during entire shift
- Ability to withstand temperature variations both hot and cold
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize departmental functions
- Attend all required meetings and trainings
- Maintain regular attendance as per scheduling
- Follow proper uniform and grooming standards
- Comply with hospitality standards and safety regulations
- Ability to handle problems proactively

- Ability to cross-train in other hotel areas

Job Qualifications
- Culinary experience
- At least 1 year of related progressive experience or a culinary graduate with at least 2 years of experience preferred

Job Duties
- Prepare all foods following hotel standard recipes
- Develop new dessert, pastry, and bread products for outlets and banquets
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in kitchen and work areas
- Control food quality and production costs to minimize waste
- Schedule pastry and bread production staff as required
- Check food purchases for proper ordering, quality, and price
- Support other kitchen positions when needed
- Break down buffets and kitchen lines after meal periods
- Adhere to health department and company safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area
- Prepare and display pastry, bread, and dessert items according to hotel standards
- Work banquet food stations as scheduled
- Follow "Clean As You Go" policy throughout shifts
- Attend hotel required meetings and trainings
- Communicate effectively with employees and guests in a friendly and courteous manner
