Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for entire shifts
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 25 pounds
  • Completion of safety training and certifications
  • No supervisory experience required

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
  • Test foods for proper cooking
  • Set up and break down workstation
  • Serve food in proper portions
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen areas and equipment
  • Monitor food and appliance temperatures
  • Follow safety and security policies
  • Report maintenance and safety issues
  • Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • Communicate clearly with team
  • Support team goals
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Perform physical tasks like bending, twisting, lifting
