Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be fully conversational in English
  • 3+ years of culinary experience in fast-paced dining
  • Experience on multiple kitchen stations
  • Must successfully obtain ServSafe certification or equivalent within 30 days of hire
  • Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety, and sanitation
  • Excellent knife skills
  • Able to lift 35 pounds or more
  • Ability to support other cooks and work in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • At least three years of culinary experience in a fast-paced dining restaurant
  • Experience working on multiple kitchen stations
  • Ability to obtain ServSafe certification or equivalent within 30 days of hire
  • Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety, and sanitation
  • Excellent knife skills
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds or more
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare menu items on assigned kitchen stations
  • Set up and prepare stations for service
  • Control quality of food items according to OTG specifications
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
  • Operate kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, and kettles
  • Ensure clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
  • Develop positive working relationships with team members and work towards guest satisfaction
