Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous culinary experience preferred but not required
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • capacity to lift and carry loads of at least 25lbs
  • ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Job Duties

  • develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods (grill, sauté and fry)
  • experience using knives and various kitchen equipment
  • read and recreate recipes
  • maintain consistency in all food preparation
  • minimize food waste through cross utilization
  • work with a world class culinary team
  • create workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
  • prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat)
  • keep a sanitized and orderly kitchen environment
  • ensure proper storage of food and other items
  • maintain quality of ingredients
