Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Fully conversational in English
  • 3 plus years of culinary experience in a fast-paced dining restaurant
  • Experience on multiple stations in the kitchen
  • Must obtain ServSafe certification or equivalent within 30 days of hire
  • Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety and sanitation
  • Excellent knife skills
  • Able to lift 35 lbs or more
  • Able to work in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • Experience on multiple stations in the kitchen

  • Experience supporting other cooks and working in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare menu items on each station
  • Prepare the station for service
  • Control the quality of all food items to OTG specifications and restaurant directions
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment
  • Operate all kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, and kettles
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and work toward guest satisfaction
