Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of line cooking experience is preferred
  • ability to obtain Food Handler certificate if not already possessed
  • valid driver's license where applicable
  • keen attention to detail
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to follow directions and recipes accurately

Job Qualifications

  • must possess a valid driver's license where applicable
  • preferably 1 year of basic line cooking experience in a high quality restaurant, country club, hotel or senior living company
  • basic knowledge of all facets of kitchen work
  • keen eye for details
  • ability to follow recipe cards accurately and use a Point of Sale (POS) system

Job Duties

  • assist in preparing all types of food while maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary work area
  • assist with receiving and stocking deliveries using proper rotational practices
  • assist kitchen attendant as needed
  • follow recipe cards accurately
  • use a Point of Sale (POS) system
  • maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
  • comply with food safety regulations
