Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and food preparation checklists
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing
  • Safely and properly use kitchen tools, equipment, and appliances for measuring and baking
  • Follow and enforce food handling safety policies and personal hygiene procedures
  • Check and ensure proper temperature of cooking equipment and food, reporting any issues to management
  • Wash and sanitize kitchen areas, set up and divide workstations, and maintain hygiene and cleanliness procedures
  • Monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the workday
  • Comply with company policies and safety procedures, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete required safety trainings and certifications
  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform and appearance
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and handle phone calls according to protocol
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with team members and support team goals
  • Adhere to quality expectations and safety standards
  • Move, lift, transport, push, pull, and position objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Work continuously in various physical positions including standing, sitting, stretching, bending, twisting, and walking for prolonged periods
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors.
