Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Culinary related degree preferred
  • Food Worker Card required issued by county and valid throughout Washington state
  • ServSafe Certification preferred
  • One year experience in culinary arts preferred
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in kitchen environment subject to hot/cold equipment and tray assembly

Job Duties

  • Responsible for hot and cold food production delivering service excellence relative to patient, cafe and catering meal hot and cold food production
  • Ensure food presentation and food quality meet Overlake Medical Center standards
  • Maintain safe temperature hot/cold food holding to comply with food safety regulations
  • Oversee food preparation from initial stage to final service
  • Assist in tray assembly and timely food delivery
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines in kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with dining services team to optimize meal services
