Job Requirements

  • minimum 1 year of related work experience
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 25 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • no supervisory experience
  • ability to operate kitchen appliances
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • knowledge of food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
  • weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
  • prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
  • operate kitchen appliances such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
  • test food for proper cooking
  • monitor food quality
  • set up and break down work station
  • serve food in correct portions
  • wash and disinfect kitchen area, tools, and equipment
  • check temperature of appliances and food
  • follow safety and security policies
  • report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions
  • maintain uniform and professional appearance
  • protect company assets
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • support team goals
  • respond to employee concerns
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting up to 25 pounds
  • perform other job duties as assigned
