Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior Asian cooking experience required
  • Ability to read and write simple sentences and recognize similarities and differences in words and numbers
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk frequently, reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to work in environments with moving mechanical parts, humid conditions, chemicals, and temperature extremes
  • Must complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification
  • Able to perform all essential job duties satisfactorily
  • Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior Asian wok or culinary experience
  • Ability to read and write simple sentences and recognize word and number patterns
  • ServSafe Alcohol training certification
  • Knowledge of Asian cooking styles and techniques
  • Experience in food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong communication and guest service skills

Job Duties

  • Utilize all Noodle Bar Station and kitchen equipment to advanced level
  • Maintain thorough knowledge and execute Asian cooking styles including Pho cook, wok station, stir-fry
  • Ensure Asian product taste and presentation exceed customer expectations and Food & Beverage standards
  • Assist with Sushi station as needed
  • Assist in preparation of a la carte and buffet food items
  • Adhere to cleanliness and sanitation standards as per ServSafe
  • Monitor and apply proper time and temperature controls
  • Cover, label, and date food products before storage
  • Conduct FIFO procedures when stocking coolers, freezers, and dry storage
  • Accurately cool hot foods and reheat cold foods within proper time frames
  • Monitor hot food holding temperature logs and document corrective actions
  • Follow production logs and quantities precisely
  • Provide positive guest experience at buffet or front line with greetings and descriptions
  • Safely operate kitchen cooking equipment
  • Clean pho station and equipment prior to shift end
