Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months to one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior Asian wok or culinary cooking experience required
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to taste or smell occasionally
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts and varying environmental conditions
  • Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Prior Asian wok or Asian culinary experience
  • Ability to read basic words and speak simple sentences
  • Knowledge of ServSafe sanitation standards and food safety protocols
  • Ability to follow production logs and inventory procedures
  • Certification in ServSafe Alcohol training
  • Effective communication and guest service skills
  • Physical capability to lift and move food items up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Utilize all Noodle Bar Station and kitchen equipment to an advanced level
  • Maintain thorough knowledge and execution of Asian cooking styles and techniques including Pho cooking, wok station, stir-fry
  • Ensure Asian product taste and presentation exceed customer expectations and Food & Beverage standards
  • Assist with Sushi station as needed
  • Prepare a la carte and buffet food items, assist cooks and Sous Chefs as directed
  • Adhere to cleanliness and sanitation standards as set by ServSafe
  • Follow proper time and temperature controls for food safety
  • Label and date all food products before storage
  • Conduct FIFO procedures when stocking and replenishing coolers, freezers, and dry storage
  • Cool hot food products and reheat cold foods to proper temperatures within appropriate time frames
  • Monitor and document hot food holding temperature logs, taking corrective actions as necessary
  • Understand and follow production logs and quantities precisely
  • Provide a positive guest experience by greeting, describing food offerings, and engaging with customers
  • Operate basic kitchen cooking equipment safely
  • Clean pho station and equipment thoroughly prior to end of shift
