Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior Asian wok or Asian culinary experience
  • Ability to read and speak simple sentences
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, and tolerate exposure to various kitchen conditions
  • Completion of ServSafe Alcohol training certification
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to three months to one year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Prior Asian wok or Asian culinary experience required
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate simple sentences
  • Completion of ServSafe Alcohol training certification

Job Duties

  • Utilize all noodle bar station equipment and other kitchen equipment to an advanced level
  • Maintain thorough working knowledge of Asian cooking styles and techniques including pho cook, wok station, stir-fry
  • Ensure Asian product, taste, and presentation exceed customer expectations and Food & Beverage standards
  • Assist with sushi station as needed
  • Prepare a la carte and buffet food items and assist cooks and Sous Chefs as directed
  • Adhere to cleanliness and sanitation standards as set by ServSafe
  • Monitor and adhere to proper time and temperature controls
  • Cover, label, and date food products accurately before storage
  • Conduct FIFO procedures when stocking and replenishing storage areas
  • Cool hot food products to proper temperatures within appropriate time frames
  • Reheat cold foods to proper temperature before service
  • Monitor hot food holding temperature logs and document corrective actions
  • Follow production logs and quantities precisely
  • Initiate positive guest experiences on front buffet line or public contact
  • Operate kitchen cooking equipment safely and correctly
  • Clean pho station and equipment prior to end of shift
