Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Previous work experience in a professional kitchen
  • Ability to lift and move 40-50 pounds
  • Willingness to work required shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of food safety procedures and guidelines
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility to cover shifts as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Previous work experience in a professional kitchen is a must
  • One plus years of experience in a food service environment preferred
  • Advanced knife skills
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment usage
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety and etiquette
  • Emphasis on high level of guest service

Job Duties

  • Prepare all menu items across all property venues
  • Estimate daily production needs and check quality of raw and cooked food products
  • Assist with food delivery check-in for quality and quantity
  • Ensure proper freezer and stock labeling and rotation on food items and ingredients
  • Use and follow all standardized recipes
  • Adhere to all food safety procedures and guidelines
  • Open shifts and prepare the venue for expected volumes
  • Coordinate daily tasks with Executive Chef and Sous Chef
  • Cover off days for Executive Chef and Sous Chef
  • Maintain effective communication between staff and promote a secure and friendly working environment
  • Follow instructions and recommendations from superiors to complete daily tasks
  • Lift and move 40-50 pounds
  • Work required shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Maintain and enforce sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards
  • May be responsible for cashier duties if assigned to mobile or QSR outlets
  • Other duties as assigned
