Job Requirements

  • At least two years culinary experience
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift 50 pounds
  • authorized to work in the United States
  • maintain clean and organized work area
  • proficiency in operating kitchen equipment

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • 1-2 years culinary experience
  • proficient knife skills
  • ability to work well in a team environment
  • strong organization and active listening skills
  • reliable and able to work in fast-paced environments
  • ability to maintain clean and organized work area
  • ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
  • passion for hospitality and sustainability
  • authorized to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
  • follow recipes including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients
  • present, garnish, and arrange final dishes
  • maintain a clean and safe work area including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes
  • handle and store ingredients and food
  • maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and utensils
  • execute opening and closing procedures
  • set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment
  • monitor station inventory levels
  • accommodate guests’ special requests
  • operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills and fryers
  • act as an ambassador for Gravity Haus sharing company mission and vision
  • embrace Gravity Haus core values of keep growing, bring others along, create powerful moments, be all-in and go the distance, and make it better than you found it
