Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years culinary experience
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school education, cooking school, culinary institute education, or equivalent experience
  • At least 1-2 years of culinary experience
  • Proficient knife skills
  • Strong organization and active listening skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Passion for hospitality and building strong guest relationships
  • Ability to learn and operate various kitchen equipment

Job Duties

  • Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
  • Follow recipes including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients
  • Present, garnish, and arrange final dishes
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes
  • Handle and store ingredients and food
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Execute opening and closing procedures
  • Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment
  • Monitor station inventory levels
  • Accommodate guests’ special requests
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers
  • Be an ambassador for Gravity Haus sharing the mission and vision
  • Embrace the Gravity Haus core values
