Job Requirements
- At least 2 years culinary experience
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school education, cooking school, culinary institute education, or equivalent experience
- At least 1-2 years of culinary experience
- Proficient knife skills
- Strong organization and active listening skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Passion for hospitality and building strong guest relationships
- Ability to learn and operate various kitchen equipment
Job Duties
- Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
- Follow recipes including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients
- Present, garnish, and arrange final dishes
- Maintain a clean and safe work area including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes
- Handle and store ingredients and food
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Execute opening and closing procedures
- Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment
- Monitor station inventory levels
- Accommodate guests’ special requests
- Operate kitchen equipment such as broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers
- Be an ambassador for Gravity Haus sharing the mission and vision
- Embrace the Gravity Haus core values
