Job Duties
- Prepare banquet dishes and trays for presentation
- prepare cold dishes
- operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to cook food
- prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing
- cook and prepare food items
- weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
- wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- monitor food quality during preparation and throughout the day
- taste dishes to ensure proper cooking
- ensure food quality standards are met and report issues to management
- clean and sanitize kitchen areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment
- set up and divide workstations
- check appliance and food temperatures
- comply with all safety and company policies
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
- maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- greet guests according to company standards
- use clear and professional communication
- answer phones using appropriate protocols
- cultivate positive work relationships and support team goals
- meet quality standards and expectations
- perform physical tasks such as stretching, standing, walking, lifting objects up to 25 pounds
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
