Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in cold kitchen, restaurants, banquets, and butcher area
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Requires moderate supervision and training
- Flexibility to work any days of the week including weekends and holidays
- Texas Food Handlers Certification
Job Qualifications
- Hotel cooking experience
- Culinary degree preferred
- Professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures
- Ability to work single-station in the kitchen
- Valid Texas Food Handlers Certification
Job Duties
- Prepare braised food, grilling, broiling, blanching, cooking, and sauté items
- Prepare daily specials
- Check quality of finished food products
- Ensure efficient preparation methods and procedures daily
- Receive products from the storeroom
