Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in cold kitchen, restaurants, banquets, and butcher area
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Requires moderate supervision and training
  • Flexibility to work any days of the week including weekends and holidays
  • Texas Food Handlers Certification

Job Qualifications

  • Hotel cooking experience
  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures
  • Ability to work single-station in the kitchen
  • Valid Texas Food Handlers Certification

Job Duties

  • Prepare braised food, grilling, broiling, blanching, cooking, and sauté items
  • Prepare daily specials
  • Check quality of finished food products
  • Ensure efficient preparation methods and procedures daily
  • Receive products from the storeroom
