Job Requirements

  • at least 2 years of experience working in all kitchens such as the cold kitchen, restaurants, banquets, and butcher area
  • hotel cooking experience and/or culinary degree preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods of time
  • requires moderate supervision and training
  • texas food handlers certification
  • flexibility to work any days of the week including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • prepare braised food, grill, broil, blanch, cook, and sauté items
  • prepare daily specials
  • check the quality of finished food products
  • ensure efficient preparation methods and procedures
  • receive products from the storeroom
  • work single-station in the kitchen
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of work station
