The Cook II position at Sodexo, located at L3Harris in Palm Bay, is a full-time role focused on preparing and presenting nutritious and high-quality dishes during morning shifts on weekdays. The pay range for this position is between $16.00 and $18.00 per hour. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to work morning shifts on weekdays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items

Job Duties

  • Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
  • Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
  • Support management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
