Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Preferably one year related work experience in culinary or related field
  • Open availability including weekends
  • Ability to work full time
  • Physical capability to stand walk and lift up to 25 pounds
  • No supervisory experience required
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least one year of related culinary work experience preferred
  • Familiarity with basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • Willingness to learn and expand culinary knowledge
  • No supervisory experience required

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing food
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Weigh measure and mix ingredients
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes quality and presentation standards
  • Operate ovens stoves grills microwaves and fryers
  • Test foods to determine if cooked sufficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and disinfect kitchen area tables tools knives and equipment
  • Monitor food quality while preparing
  • Set up and break down work station
  • Serve food in proper portions onto proper receptacles
  • Check and ensure temperature correctness of appliances and food
  • Follow company safety and security policies
  • Report maintenance needs accidents injuries and unsafe work conditions
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Maintain professional uniform and personal appearance
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Protect company assets
  • Communicate professionally and clearly
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Support team to reach common goals
  • Listen and respond appropriately to concerns
  • Adhere to quality expectations and standards
  • Perform physical tasks including standing sitting walking bending twisting pulling stooping and moving objects up to 25 pounds
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
