Job Duties

  • Establish and prepare work stations
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to cook food
  • Prepare cold dishes
  • Control food quality during preparation
  • Taste dishes to ensure proper cooking
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
  • Prepare special meals or substitute products
  • Serve food in appropriate portions and containers
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, utensils, knives, and equipment
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance
  • Receive and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Anticipate guest service needs and provide attentive service
  • Foster positive working relationships with team members
  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Ensure quality standards are met
  • Stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
  • Bend, stretch, and twist as required
  • Move, lift, push, drag, or position items up to 25 pounds
