Job Duties
- Establish and prepare work stations
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to cook food
- Prepare cold dishes
- Control food quality during preparation
- Taste dishes to ensure proper cooking
- Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- Prepare ingredients by portioning, chopping, and storing
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
- Prepare special meals or substitute products
- Serve food in appropriate portions and containers
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, utensils, knives, and equipment
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
- Receive and acknowledge guests according to company standards
- Anticipate guest service needs and provide attentive service
- Foster positive working relationships with team members
- Communicate clearly and professionally
- Ensure quality standards are met
- Stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
- Bend, stretch, and twist as required
- Move, lift, push, drag, or position items up to 25 pounds
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
