Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent experience
  • four years of professional food production experience
  • Washington State Food and Beverage Service Worker’s Permit obtained within 15 days of employment
  • ability to meet physical demands of the role
  • knowledge of health and safety standards in food preparation
  • availability for full-time work
  • effective communication skills
  • culinary degree or formalized apprenticeship preferred

Job Qualifications

  • experience with food production in catering, hotel, or hospital settings preferred

Job Duties

  • prepare food products using basic and advanced cooking techniques
  • follow standard recipes and plating guidelines
  • meet production schedules according to health, safety, and sanitary procedures
  • manage production, storage, and utilization of food and supplies
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas
  • participate in recipe and menu development
  • showcase culinary skills and products
