Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of one to two years of culinary experience
- strong knowledge of basic cooking methods and food safety
- must obtain Food Handler’s Certification within 30 days of hire
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- excellent teamwork and communication skills
- ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- successful completion of background check, drug test, physical, and TB screening
- valid driver’s license

Job Duties
- Prepare meals according to recipes with attention to quality and presentation
- adjust recipes for dietary restrictions when needed
- maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas
- safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment
- assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- mentor and support Cook I staff
- collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely service
- assist with meal service delivery
- other duties as assigned
