Job Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking
- wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
- weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
- prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- operate kitchen appliances such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
- test foods to ensure proper cooking
- maintain food quality during preparation
- set-up and break down work station
- serve food in proper portions
- wash and disinfect kitchen area and tools
- check temperatures of appliances and food
- follow safety and security policies
- report hazards or maintenance needs
- maintain clean and professional appearance
- maintain confidentiality of company information
- communicate clearly and professionally
- support team goals
- perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
