Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- one-year certificate from culinary school or comparable experience
- ability to read and interpret recipes and prep lists
- ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- basic knife skills
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- personal mobility to get around the facility
- must comply with health codes

Job Duties
- clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces and utensils
- cook and package batches of food such as burgers, chicken tenders, fries, hotdogs, and prepared BBQ meats
- wash and peel ingredients for meal preparation
- cut and portion different types of meat according to specifications
- prepare different types of food following recipes carefully
- accept or reject ingredients based on appearance and quality
- keep track of ingredient quantities to ensure sufficient supply
- store ingredients in dedicated containers for preservation
- clean and sanitize work surfaces, tools, and utensils
- monitor food and cooling room temperatures
- take direction well
- deliver high quality products
- minimize food spoilage
- maintain cleanliness after each event
- operate large-volume cooking equipment such as deep-fat fryers
- maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards
- follow SAVOR rules and regulations
- clean, stock and inventory workstation and be accountable for all inventories
- work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ensure regular attendance
- perform other duties as assigned
