Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- apprentice for certification preferred
- knowledge and ability to use all kitchen tools and equipment
- must be able to identify all products used in kitchen operation
- recognizes spoiled or questionable products
- ability to read, comprehend and execute recipes
- ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- ability to read and communicate verbally in English
- written communication skills in English may also be required
- employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations
- must successfully complete C.A.R.E or TIPS training
- must be able to stand for a full shift
- ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance

Job Duties
- Consistently prepares hot or cold food selections to standards established by the Executive Chef
- ensures that work area is kept clean and orderly
- assist in training of new cooks
- must be able to stand for a full shift
- exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customers or fellow team members
- completes daily checklist and production charts as directed by supervisor
- any and all duties as assigned by supervisor or management
