Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Advanced culinary training from vocational or culinary college preferred
  • Completion of Sanitation Certification or ServSafe Certification within 6 months of hire
  • Minimum of 3 years professional culinary experience
  • Commercial large volume cooking experience preferred
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of food preparation by recipe
  • Ability to complete assignments with periodic supervision
  • Ability to supervise and assist in training and development
  • Ability to work independently as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Must work varying shifts and rotating weekends
  • Must have a clean and neat appearance

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Produce safe and high-quality food products according to established guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work environment
  • Ensure commitment to customer and patient satisfaction
  • Communicate daily with supervisors and team members in a supportive manner
  • Prepare batch, large quantity, and short order cooking as required
  • Assist in training and developing team members
  • Work independently and as part of a team ensuring attention to detail and good organization
