Job Requirements

High school diploma
Two years of cooking experience
ServSafe certification required within 30 days of hire
Experience preparing soups, sauces, and casseroles from scratch
Ability to lead in absence of first cook
Some healthcare cooking experience preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

Set up the hot meal line
Follow the daily menu to cook meals
Prepare soups, sauces, and casseroles from scratch
Initiate preparations for the next day meal service
Open the kitchen and start daily operations after orientation
Lead the kitchen in the absence of the first cook
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth food service operations
