Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to read and communicate verbally in English
- Written communication skills in English may be required
- Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations
- Must successfully complete C.A.R.E or TIPS training if applicable
- Must be able to stand for a full shift
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance in confined spaces

Job Qualifications
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Apprentice for certification preferred
- Knowledge and ability to use all kitchen tools and equipment
- Must be able to identify all products used in kitchen operation
- Recognizes spoiled or questionable products
- Ability to read, comprehend and execute recipes
Job Duties
- Consistently prepares hot or cold food selections to standards established by the Executive Chef
- Ensures that work area is kept clean and orderly
- Assist in training of new cooks
- Must be able to stand for a full shift
- Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customers or fellow team members
- Completes daily checklist and production charts as directed by supervisor
- Any and all duties as assigned by supervisor or a member of management
