Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform physical tasks required by kitchen work
- availability to work 2-3 days per week from 7:00 am to 11:30 am
- current health card credentialing
- pass a criminal background check
- eligibility to work in the United States verified through E-Verify
- compliance with drug-free workplace policy.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role preferred
- knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation procedures
- ability to work early morning shifts
- good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
- strong attention to detail
- excellent teamwork and communication skills
- possession of a current health card or willingness to obtain one.
Job Duties
- Prepare food served using established production procedures and systems
- understand and comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen policies and procedures
- comply with established sanitation, personal hygiene and health standards
- maintain current health card credentialing and have it in possession at all times
- report necessary equipment repair and maintenance to Executive Chef
- handle, store and rotate all products properly
- follow proper plate presentation and garnish procedures
- assist in food prep assignments
- maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, ovens, flat top, refrigeration equipment, etc.
