Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to perform physical tasks required by kitchen work
  • availability to work 2-3 days per week from 7:00 am to 11:30 am
  • current health card credentialing
  • pass a criminal background check
  • eligibility to work in the United States verified through E-Verify
  • compliance with drug-free workplace policy.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience as a line cook or in a similar culinary role preferred
  • knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation procedures
  • ability to work early morning shifts
  • good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods
  • strong attention to detail
  • excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • possession of a current health card or willingness to obtain one.

Job Duties

  • Prepare food served using established production procedures and systems
  • understand and comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen policies and procedures
  • comply with established sanitation, personal hygiene and health standards
  • maintain current health card credentialing and have it in possession at all times
  • report necessary equipment repair and maintenance to Executive Chef
  • handle, store and rotate all products properly
  • follow proper plate presentation and garnish procedures
  • assist in food prep assignments
  • maintain a clean and sanitary work area, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, ovens, flat top, refrigeration equipment, etc.
