Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant culinary experience
  • Valid health card credentialing
  • Ability to work mornings 7:00 am to 11:30 am 2-3 days per week
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Eligibility to work verified through E-Verify

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively

Job Duties

  • Prepare food served using established production procedures and systems
  • Understand and comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen policies and procedures
  • Comply with established sanitation, personal hygiene and health standards
  • Maintain current health card credentialing and have it in possession at all times
  • Report necessary equipment repair and maintenance to Executive Chef
  • Handle, store and rotate all products properly
  • Follow proper plate presentation and garnish procedures
  • Assist in food prep assignments
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, ovens, flat top, refrigeration equipment
