Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one to two years of culinary experience
  • Strong knowledge of basic cooking methods and food safety
  • Must obtain Food Handler's Certification within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Successful completion of background check, drug test, physical, and TB screening
  • Valid driver's license

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals according to recipes with attention to quality and presentation
  • Adjust recipes for dietary restrictions when needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas
  • Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
  • Mentor and support Cook I staff
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure timely service
  • Assist with meal service delivery
  • Other duties as assigned
