Job Requirements
- Sufficient manual dexterity to use all kitchen equipment knives tongs slicers etc
- Must own a set of knives
- Ability to lift push or pull up to 100 lbs and transport materials as needed
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in confined noisy or high-temperature areas
- Ability to perform duties in varied temperature ranges
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Culinary or apprenticeship program preferred
- 1-2 years of prior cooking experience in a similar role required
- Ability to obtain local state or federal sanitation or food service certifications
- Must adhere to Local 122 Collective Bargaining Agreement regulations with the option to obtain union membership after 90 days of employment
Job Qualifications

- 1-2 years of prior cooking experience in a similar role required
- Ability to obtain local state or federal sanitation or food service certifications
- Experience following standard recipes and food safety regulations
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques
Job Duties
- Prepare all station-specific food items according to standard recipes and guest requests ensuring consistency of product
- Visually inspect select and use only food items ideal for preparation
- Check and control proper storage of products especially stocks and sauces and monitor portion sizes
- Keep refrigeration storage and work areas clean and compliant with health department regulations
- Ensure all equipment in working areas is clean sanitized and in proper condition
- Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items applying math skills to ensure recipe accuracy
- Maintain high quality of food production and presentation
