Job Duties

  • Order supplies by initiating requisitions
  • fill out Engineering work orders to maintain physical plant
  • check function sheets and restaurant requisitions
  • prepare list of tasks for the day
  • prepare determined mise en place for the day
  • practice good stock rotation, storage, and handling of goods
  • assist in supervision and training of other cooks
  • keep work area clean and adhere to health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
  • report suspicious persons in the kitchen
  • organize outlet orders and needs
