Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be fully conversational in English
- Must have two or more years of culinary experience in a fast-paced dining setting
- Must obtain SERVSafe Certification or equivalent within 30 days of hire
- Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety, and sanitation
- Ability to work multiple stations
- Excellent knife skills required
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs or more
- Must support other cooks and work in a team environment
- Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Must be available for varied hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and bad weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Fully conversational in English
- Two or more years of culinary experience in a fast-paced dining restaurant
- Demonstrated moderate-level cooking skills such as quick serve, grilling, and frying
- Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety, and sanitation
- Experience working multiple kitchen stations preferred
- Excellent knife skills
- Able to lift 35 lbs or more
- Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Must be flexible to work varied hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and bad weather conditions
Job Duties
- Work on the line in one of OTG's multi-unit concepts
- Prepare food following recipe guidelines
- Ensure portion sizing and plating consistency
- Coordinate timing of all food items on the same order
- Control food quality according to OTG specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
- Operate kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, and kettles
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
