Job Requirements
- High school or GED completed
- Two years of high volume culinary experience
- Food handler certification or equivalent
- Ability to read and follow standardized recipes
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Ability to withstand temperature variations
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Friendly and courteous to guests and employees
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Two years of high-volume culinary experience
- Food Handler certification or equivalent
- Ability to read and follow standardized recipes
- Knowledge of intermediate cooking techniques
- Experience with roasting, grilling, and frying
- Ability to work independently and run a shift without direct supervision
Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality food items following standardized recipes
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and safety
- Minimize waste and maximize cost and production ratio
- Collaborate with supervisors on preparation of soups and sauces
- Perform hot and cold food preparation using standard techniques
- Assist with banquet food transportation and plating
- Maintain proper storage and rotation of food products
