Job Requirements

  • High school or GED completed
  • Two years of high volume culinary experience
  • Food handler certification or equivalent
  • Ability to read and follow standardized recipes
  • Ability to stand for entire shift
  • Ability to withstand temperature variations
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
  • Friendly and courteous to guests and employees

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Two years of high-volume culinary experience
  • Food Handler certification or equivalent
  • Ability to read and follow standardized recipes
  • Knowledge of intermediate cooking techniques
  • Experience with roasting, grilling, and frying
  • Ability to work independently and run a shift without direct supervision

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality food items following standardized recipes
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and safety
  • Minimize waste and maximize cost and production ratio
  • Collaborate with supervisors on preparation of soups and sauces
  • Perform hot and cold food preparation using standard techniques
  • Assist with banquet food transportation and plating
  • Maintain proper storage and rotation of food products
