Job Requirements

  • must be at least 21 years old
  • high school diploma or education equivalent required
  • must have food service or culinary arts degree
  • three years related culinary work

Job Duties

  • prepares all menu items quickly, efficiently, and consistently
  • prepares plates and baskets according to established proper presentation standards
  • organizes, rotates, and stocks hot lines properly
  • meets guests needs through timely and proper handling of all equipment and chemicals
  • ensures the employee dining area is properly supplied with freshly prepared food
  • complies with all department and company rules, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls and government rules and regulations
  • works in a safe manner at all times
  • assists in other kitchens of the casino as necessary
  • keeps the work area clean and organized and deep cleans the area at the end of shifts
  • follows the proper closing procedure with cleaning and labeling
  • attends periodic meetings and training sessions
  • promotes positive public and employee relations
  • demonstrates commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct
  • presents oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times
  • perform other duties as assigned
