Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum two years experience in high volume food service
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Basic mathematical ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Capability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Must possess and be able to use knives and other kitchen tools safely
- Must complete mandatory compliance training including active shooter awareness, safety training, hazard communication, responsible gaming awareness, Title 31 training, PCI credit card fraud prevention, and sexual harassment awareness
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum two years high volume food service experience
- Ability to use all kitchen tools and equipment
- Must have good knife skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of food products
- Must have Serve Safe certification
- Must be capable of following directions
- Must possess good recall and memory
- Must be very detail oriented
- Must have basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Must project a professional and positive image
- High energy level
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with people with sensitivity, tact, and professionalism
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all team members and guests
Job Duties
- Prepares hot food items according to menu and recipe standards
- Identifies and informs chef of station problems
- Works rapidly and accurately
- Utilizes proper food handling techniques following health and safety standards
- Ensures proper stocking of assigned station
- Assists chef in menu preparation, service and breakdown of function
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Provides exceptional service
- Adheres to department and property policies and procedures
- Maintains inventory organization in freezer, cooler, and dry storage
- Unloads pallets and stocks groceries
- Works multiple stations to cover breaks
- Relocates and stores company assets in case of natural disaster
- Represents Bally's corporation in a professional manner
- Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned
