Job Requirements

  • at least 21 years of age
  • active food handler's certification or ability to get it
  • willingness to work day, night, and weekend shifts
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to work independently
  • able to stand for long periods
  • able to lift at least 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • assist the Chef in food preparation and fabrication
  • maintain adequate production level for kitchen staff
  • develop knowledge and skills in cooking methods including grill, sauté, and fry
  • create and manage workstations with needed ingredients and equipment
  • ensure all food and items are stored properly
  • keep kitchen environment sanitized and orderly
  • support cross utilization to minimize food waste
