Job Requirements

  • legal authorization to work in the United States
  • one year of progressively responsible quantity cooking experience
  • willingness to work rotating shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • successful completion of drug screening and background check
  • compliance with the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA)
  • ability to perform cooking duties as assigned

  • one year of progressively responsible quantity cooking experience in a large-scale setting
  • knowledge and skill in general quantity cooking duties
  • ability to work rotating shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • legal authorization to work in the United States
  • ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Job Duties

  • assist in cooking designated entrees and other principal meal items
  • prepare vegetables and fruits for cooking or salads
  • assist in cooking vegetables in bulk by seasoning and stirring
  • prepare salads, sandwiches and other cold food items
  • make coffee and toast
  • boil eggs
  • cook cereal, rice, macaroni, spaghetti and other simple foods
